Greenerhills Nursery is owned and operated by Justin and Ning Soucek, FNGLA certified growers with more than 25 years of hands on experience. What began 20 years ago as an ornamental design business has grown into something with a much larger purpose. Working in traditional landscaping, Justin saw the destructive tendencies of conventional gardening set against everything permaculture had to offer, and realized he could make a far bigger impact by sharing what he had learned.
Today the nursery carries over 600 varieties of fruit trees and edible plants and helps people at every scale, from a few pots on a back porch to a full food forest design. In a world where industrial farming and urban sprawl have distanced people from the source of their food, Greenerhills exists to close that gap and build an informed community that can nourish itself and the generations to come.

Nobody grows alone
Food forestry grows connection as much as it grows fruit. Sharing what you have grown builds real bonds, and local groups such as the Golden Gate Food Forest and Naples Agriculture and Permaculture exist so people can trade knowledge, plants and resources.
Since the pandemic we have watched local priorities shift. An area once focused on ornamental landscaping is now asking about herbal medicine, organic growing and self reliance. Many of the trees people already want for shade or flowers will feed them too.
